Mechanical Engineering

This course will equip graduates with the core engineering skills and up-todate expertise so as to maximise their employment options. By offering elective streams it will make the mechanical engineering graduate more useful to the medical device sector, the advanced manufacturing(automation) and the energy industry, three of the growing sectors in the Irish economy, identified in the 2012 Action Plan for Jobs report, which are specifically targeted by government for job creation.
